Our mission is to try to help people with diabetes find a meter that works best for them. Being ale to control your blood glucose levels is critical to maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, so the idea of this site is to inform diabetics about what we think are the best meters so that they are able to get the most out of life.My grandfather was diabetic, on my fathers’ side, and my uncles on my mothers’ side, so I know first hand how difficult it can be to go to a birthday party, Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner without totally throwing your glucose out of whack. Planning and understanding your blood glucose levels, which is what my grandpa did, made it so he could enjoy the times we spent together as a family without jeopardizing his health.
